The TCOE EdTech Integration Department held its 2nd Annual Tech Rodeo, a full day of EdTech learning for educators and administrators, on January 13th, 2018 at Ridgeview Middle School in Visalia. This dynamic learning experience included a powerful Keynote Session, Robotics Exhibition Corral, and experienced and inspiring presentation sessions on the following learning strands:

  • Lead Learning (Admin & Coaches) - Learn practical skills for leading and facilitating effective technology integration at your district/school site. 
  • STEAM (Integrate to Innovate) - Tools and inspiration for maximizing instructional minutes and increasing student engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math. 
  • Beyond the Classroom Walls - Learn to create connections for your students expanding past the four walls of the classroom. Use technology to build your professional learning network. 
  • Design Learning - Use Design Thinking/PBL, and other planning processes to create learning experiences and flexible learning spaces that empower students. 
  • Making Assessment Matter - Leverage a mix of high tech, low tech, and no tech for purposeful, formative feedback and personalized learning to meet student needs.
  • Students Teaching Teachers - Create student leaders in your classroom and beyond. Multiply the impact of your instruction by empowering your students to teach their peers.
