Implementing California’s History-Social Science Framework

Professional Learning and Networking Communities of Practice

Get on Your Soapbox!

What can civic learning look like K-12? What does the Framework say?
What models exist to help students become active citizens at an early age?

All students can take informed action!  Join us for the second in a series of four regional CLIC PROJECT 2018-19 Framework Implementation Communities of Practice--full day learning events focusing on the key shifts of California’s History-Social Science Framework.

February’s session will focus on Citizenship & Civics, providing rich resources, engaging strategies, and instructional approaches that can transform student perspectives and civic involvement at all ages.

All K-12 administrators, teachers, Instructional Coaches and Paraprofessionals supporting history-social science education are invited to attend at no cost.
