Poetry can be fun to teach AND fun to learn!

This fast-paced interactive professional learning session showcases simple methods to make poetry engaging for all students (and teachers).

Participants will learn unique ways to combine elements of dance, music, theatre, and visual art with poetic forms.

Using popular music and easy classroom art activities as a vehicle for learning, this workshop takes the stress out of teaching poetry. Packed with student-tested and teacher-approved strategies, this hands-on training is guaranteed to have attendees singing and dancing along.

Discover ways to unlock creativity, build vocabulary across content areas, increase reading fluency, and make poetry fun!
