Digital Literacy for Grades 6-12

We invite all educators and coaches of students in grades 6-12 to come join us in learning to leverage tech tools to accelerate student learning goals. In this workshop, you will learn to develop student-centered lessons that increase intrinsic motivation and internal accountability.

Topics are based on the new 2016 International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Students and include:

  • Digital Citizenship (Learn to teach students how to be safe and secure online)
  • Knowledge Construction (Tech tools for accessing content and documenting kinesthetic learning processes)
  • Collaborative Communication (Explore tech tools for increasing interactive communication amongst students) 
Please note that this workshop is not device specific. Tech tools will be explored for use on Chromebooks, iPads, tablets, and desktops; BYOD.
