Based on the research at the CAST Institute in relation to neuroscience and how we learn, Tulare County Office of Education brings you this workshop series.

UDL 101: The Foundation

This 1 day workshop dives deep into understanding the conceptual framework behind Universal Design for Learning. It is a day to explore the way and how of the framework. Explore the concept of learner variability and the connection between UDL, differentiation and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS.) Walk away with an understanding of the purpose of UDL and how to break down barriers for all students, including English Learners, and students with exceptional needs, to access learning.
